Young entrepreneur Tyler Horvath has recently been thrown into the spotlight as he is one of the youngest kids to start a business. Tyler has been interested in creating his own business for almost all of his short life and has passed up the life of a kid to create a flourishing online business.
Tyler started programming at the young age of 8 and started http://www.plentifulpet.com only a few years later at the age of 11. His business has grown by over 200% since its launch in late 2011. Tyler has spoke out about his recent business venture and has been surprised at all of the media attention he has received for his recent start-up.
Tyler commented to the media about his current endeavor. He said, “All my friends are always out playing and being kids, but I just never felt that way. I would rather be making an impact on the community and creating jobs in Kansas City.” Recently, Tyler was asked how he got into this business and how it came to be. He stated, “Well, I’ve always loved pets and I thought what better way to be around them then to start my own pet store. I just want to offer great pet products at great prices.”
Tyler saved up some capital from selling golf balls on the golf course in his parents back yard for a few summers and came up with enough funds to create an S-Corp and start PlentifulPet.com. He plans on expanding the business in the future and becoming a big competitor to pet stores like Petsmart and PetCo. Currently, PlentifulPet has been a huge hit and is gaining a lot of attention due to its young owner. For more information visit http://www.plentifulpet.com.
