What are you talking about? Servals don’t even exist in Egypt. The Egyptian cat is called the Mau.
Cool video, although the music is cheesy and I strongly disagree with leashing cats.

  2. rvmvadati says:

Serval Cats were actually kept as pets by the Egyptians instead of dogs!

“that cat deserves to be in the wild. let it go you fuckin asshole. its so wrong to have it trapped in your home helpless” (c4str0). Eat you’re own poop c4str0.

    HAHAHA dumb bitchhh

  5. Tanginique Haynes says:

you are truly an ignorant asshole. Servals have been kept as pets longer than domestic cats. And servals used in Savannah breeding (like this one) have been bred in captivity for multiple generations meaning they wouldn’t have the slightest idea what to do if they were released into the wild. Plus when raised by a human from kittenhood Servals become extremely attached to their human parents and stop eating and bite their own paws off if the human leaves them.

Wow the color and pattern of its fur is just gorgeous. Beautiful creature.

It cannot go into the wild, it wouldn’t survive. If you raise an animal (like this one)- in captivity- it simply CANNOT be released into the wild. Not to mention cats like this have been bred by the breeder for generations to breed the wildness out of them, they have no real hope of surviving despite what you think. Look at the collar and the furtniture and such… It seems like that poor helpless cat is probably living better than I am right now. So learn the facts first hippie.

By its collar and the furniture, it looks to be very well cared for by humans so I wouldnt worry.

Obviously you are not aware that Servals have been tamed and domesticated for over 5 thousand years. Servals, Caracals, and many other wild cats have been domesticated as long as dogs have. Servals prefer a home with food and females on demand without any competition and predators than to have to fight for everything they eat, drink and touch every second of the day. They also live longer and don’t have to worry about poachers attacking them. Savannahs are very tame dumb ass.

  17. staringdowna45 says:

I see you’re point, and I agree with it. What I take issue with are you’re facts, which are wrong. Servals have been domesticaed for over five thousand years, beginnign with anceitn Egytian Pharaoh’s. Servals and other ‘wild’ cats of simialr size have been domesticated nearly as long as canines. They’re just not as common because, well, look at them. They’re harder to care for than a normal cat too. If a person is knowlodgeable and responsible, there is no problem.

  18. Practicallyk9 says:

cats just like “cats just like yea these are the benifits of having ritch owners”

  19. tyle6 says:

if animal shelters actually wanted people to adopt the animals they wouldn’t make them cost more then the ones on the pet store.
